Identify business opportunities, assesses customer needs and matches these with Company's services to achieve Company's business growth with existing resources through active tele-marketing activities.
Support Network related rate requests and work towards providing the optimum cost
Build and maintain close working relations within the Sales Department
Build a strong client relationship and manage a portfolio of existing and potential customers via telephone contact to their maximum potential.
Coordinate with different departments and act as the customer's point of contact to ensure all queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately.
Maintain teamwork by incorporating a positive attitude.
Ensure that customer information is maintained accurately on the database.
Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
Implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with best practice.
Ensure CRM is properly updated and in a timely manner
Maintain proper updating of rates in SWIVEL (operating system)
Carry out any ad-hoc tasks/projects as and when assigned by the Company.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years of experience in a similar sales support or administrative role, preferably within the logistics or freight/cargo forwarding industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Knowledge of freight/cargo forwarding processes and industry regulations
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
