1. Job Purpose
To supervise and manage sales activities for tow bars, tow forks, and related towing equipment, achieve sales targets, develop customer relationships, and coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in: Logistics companies Towing service providers Vehicle recovery operators Automotive workshops Fleet management companies Government and commercial vehicle operators
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Promote company products and services to prospective customers.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers.
B. Customer Management
- Respond to customer enquiries promptly.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable tow bars and forks.
- Conduct customer visits and site inspections when necessary.
- Maintain customer records and sales database.
C. Quotation & Order Processing
- Prepare and submit quotations based on customer specifications.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved limits.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations.
- Convert quotations into confirmed sales orders.
- Ensure all sales orders are properly documented.
D. Production Coordination
- Liaise with production department regarding: Product specifications Manufacturing schedule Material availability Delivery deadlines
- Monitor order progress and provide updates to customers.
E. Team Supervision
- Supervise sales executives and coordinators.
- Assign sales targets and customer accounts.
- Monitor sales performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and coaching sessions.
F. Reporting
Prepare:
- Weekly sales reports
- Monthly sales forecasts
- Customer visit reports
- Sales pipeline reports
- Market analysis reports
