Supervise the activities of the sales team including marketing activities like product activations.
Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
Initiate sales activities, strategies, and sales plans required to build brand visibility.
Implementing new sales plans and advertising, identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales
Provides information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends
Evaluate the performance of the sales team and seek ways to improve the team's performance.
Building and maintaining good working relationships with customers
Ensuring that the store is adequately stocked with company products
Develop and maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
Controlling company marketing expenses to ensure the marketing expenditure is kept within budget.
Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities
Perform other duties as and when assigned by Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale/retail packaging experience preferred
Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging and good knowledge in Wholesale trade products distributions through various channels
Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, and put in place measures to retain a great team.
Willing to do rotating shift work and able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing.
Must be willing to work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required
Preferably bilingual to liaise with Indian speaking suppliers and vendors in view of working/business environment communication
Must have knowledge to control storage room temperatures of goods
Proactive person who has positive attitude and responsible for sales targets
Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strive towards meeting/exceeding sales goals and monthly sales target
Customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication, networking and negotiation skills
