The client is a small family-owned business rapidly growing in online e-commerce, wholesale distribution, and direct importation of New Zealand food and beverage products.

Job Summary

This outdoor hunter-style sales role focuses on building distribution and growing accounts in FMCG, especially artesian natural mineral water, by developing new business and managing accounts across bars, restaurants, clubs, gyms, salons, and other retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and identify prospects to pitch products and secure new clients in the FMCG sector
  • Visit clients such as bars, restaurants, and retailers to assess their needs and build strong partnerships
  • Manage existing client accounts to drive repeat orders and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports and sales orders to track performance and inventory
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Kiwi Kitchen products to provide tailored recommendations and promote cross-selling opportunities

Required competencies and certifications

  • Previous experience in FMCG sales to effectively generate and grow sales accounts
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure client commitments
  • Effective communication skills to engage clients and present product benefits clearly
  • Presentation skills to confidently promote products and influence purchasing decisions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • High confidence and resilience to handle outdoor sales challenges and rejection
  • Tidy appearance to represent the company professionally
  • Persuasive nature to influence client decisions and expand account reach


Salary range - base as specified, transport allowance and commission will be provided in addition.
