Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Singapore with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. As a Sales Representative specializing in commercial shipping, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, conducting sales presentations, and managing client relationships. Key tasks include prospecting for new clients, maintaining existing customer accounts, providing customer support, and delivering product training to clients. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales targets.

Criteria

  • Industry Experience:Proven track record in maritime/commercial shipping sales, including familiarity with fleet cycles, compliance-driven sales, and multi-port account coverage.
  • KPI & Target Achievement:Consistent delivery of 100%+ annual sales targets, strong pipeline management (34 coverage), and forecast accuracy within 10%.
  • Account Management:Ability to manage A/B tier accounts, develop 12-month account plans, and drive retention (>90%) and expansion (20% YoY).
  • Contracting Skills:Expertise in RFQ-to-contract lifecycle, negotiation of terms, and timely execution of agreements.
  • Growth Contribution:Demonstrated success in identifying whitespace, executing campaigns, and driving competitive takeouts.
  • Accounts Receivable Management:Maintains DSO 60 days, proactive in collections, and collaborates effectively with Finance.
  • Core Competencies:Commercial acumen, resilience, cross-functional collaboration, and strict adherence to compliance.
