We are a commodity trading company looking for a suitable candidate who can handle the end to end cycle of trading.
Responsibility
- Establish and maintain solid customer relationships with new and existing counterparties, including regular visits (overseas) and daily communication
- Proactively source for business development opportunities in China and other parts of Asia.
- Track and monitor market movements and actively communicate internally to ensure updated understanding.
- Negotiation of sales contract and calculation of relevant costs to ensure profitability of trades.
- Any other duties as assigned as and when necessary
Requirements
- Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English in order to liaise with Chinese and English speaking stakeholders.
- Familiarity with trade finance, UCP600, coal / iron ore commodity trading is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, efficient, diligent, proactive, and able to work independently
