Role Overview
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the stable operation and continuous improvement of the sales operational framework. The role covers sales process governance, data management, budgeting support, commission operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
In addition to providing day-to-day operational support, this role serves as the process owner for key sales operational workflows. The position works closely with both the sales team and internal support functions to enhance operational efficiency, while contributing to business planning and decision-making through data analysis and operational insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Operations Process Governance & Optimization (Process Ownership)
- Own and continuously improve key sales operational processes, including contract approval workflows, sales support processes, and internal collaboration mechanisms
- Identify operational bottlenecks within the sales process and drive improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), templates, and process documentation to enhance operational efficiency
- Support the implementation and alignment of regional or global sales operational frameworks
2. Sales Data Governance & System Management
- Manage CRM data governance (e.g., Zoho), ensuring accuracy of customer, opportunity, revenue, and contract data
- Support system configuration improvements, user access management, and workflow rule maintenance for sales operations tools
- Collaborate with IT or product teams to resolve system issues and implement system enhancement requests
3. Sales Commission & Performance Operations Support
- Administer sales commission policies and perform monthly commission calculations
- Establish and maintain commission tracking and analysis mechanisms to support performance evaluation and policy optimization
- Work closely with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts
4. Budget Management & Business Analysis Support
- Support sales revenue target allocation and operational expense budgeting
- Monitor budget utilization and provide rolling forecast support
- Contribute to operational analysis in quarterly or annual business reviews
- Provide data-driven operational insights to support management decision-making
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Enablement
- Act as the key liaison between Sales and internal teams including Finance, Legal, HR, and Systems
- Facilitate efficient coordination on matters such as invoicing, discount approvals, contract amendments, and system support
- Support regional key initiatives and operational projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or RevOps
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems and sales process management
- Solid data analysis capability and advanced Excel modeling skills
- Strong cross-functional coordination and process management mindset
- Self-driven with strong ownership and ability to drive initiatives independently
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English as working languages

- Experience in Internet / Cloud / SaaS industries
