One of our clients is seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented Sales Operations Lead – APAC to drive operational excellence, forecasting accuracy, and scalable revenue growth across the region. This strategic role partners closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize go-to-market performance through data-driven insights, process improvements, and technology enablement.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, sales operations expertise, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Partner with APAC Sales Leadership to develop territory structures, coverage models, and headcount planning strategies.
- Support annual, quarterly, and ongoing go-to-market planning initiatives.
- Translate business goals into operational plans, performance targets, and measurable KPIs.
- Contribute to sales capacity planning and growth initiatives across the region.
Forecasting & Pipeline Management
- Own and manage the APAC forecasting process, governance framework, and accuracy improvement initiatives.
- Monitor pipeline health, coverage ratios, deal progression, and conversion metrics.
- Identify revenue risks and growth opportunities through detailed analysis and reporting.
- Drive forecasting discipline and consistency across the sales organization.
Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting frameworks.
- Deliver actionable insights related to:
- Pipeline generation and conversion performance
- Average Selling Price (ASP) trends and deal-size analysis
- Regional performance against targets and forecasts
- Sales productivity and operational effectiveness
- Automate and standardize reporting processes to enable faster and more informed decision-making.
Sales Process & Operational Excellence
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end sales process, including lead routing, opportunity management, pipeline hygiene, and sales stages.
- Document, standardize, and optimize sales processes and operating procedures.
- Ensure alignment with global sales operations standards while adapting processes to meet APAC business requirements.
- Drive operational efficiency and scalability across the sales organization.
Systems & Tools Management
- Partner with Business Applications and IT teams to manage and enhance Salesforce and the broader sales technology ecosystem.
- Improve workflow automation, data quality, reporting structures, and CRM effectiveness.
- Promote adoption and utilization of sales tools and technologies across the organization.
- Ensure accurate and reliable sales data for reporting and forecasting purposes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Channel Partners, and IT teams.
- Align stakeholders on go-to-market priorities, planning cycles, and performance measurement.
- Act as a central coordination point for APAC Sales Operations initiatives and projects.
- Support cross-functional programs that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Executive Support & Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic operations partner to APAC Sales Leadership.
- Prepare executive presentations, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and leadership updates.
- Deliver structured recommendations and insights that influence strategic decision-making.
- Support leadership with performance analysis and business planning activities.
Transformation & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead high-impact projects focused on:
- Forecasting transformation and accuracy improvements
- Pipeline acceleration and conversion optimization
- Sales productivity enhancements
- Process automation and operational scalability
- Drive change management and adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or Strategic Planning roles.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting methodologies, and revenue operations.
- Proven experience partnering with senior Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Hands-on expertise with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Advanced proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Strong data analysis, modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and globally distributed environment.
