Sales Merchandiser
Job Summary
Conduct regular store visits to ensure merchandising guidelines are followed and products are presented with high quality. Manage orders and stock levels to reduce out-of-stock situations. Build strong relationships and negotiate for optimal product display in retail stores.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular store visits to verify compliance with merchandising guidelines and maintain product presentation standards
- Take customer orders and track stock movement to minimize out-of-stock situations
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with store personnel to support sales objectives
- Negotiate with store personnel to secure better display positions and additional shelf space for products
- Visit retail stores across Singapore as assigned to perform merchandising and sales activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage
- Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to work independently
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with store personnel
- Apply organizational and time management skills to manage multiple store visits and tasks efficiently
- Use negotiation skills to improve product placement and visibility
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively as a team player
