Responsible for developing and leading sales strategies to drive business growth in international freight services, including ocean, air, and road freight. This role requires identifying and securing new clients, expanding existing accounts, and promoting end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to each customer's supply chain needs. The Sales Manager will also lead a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company targets and high service standards.
Sales & Business Development:
. Identify and target potential customers for freight forwarding services (FCL, LCL, air freight, etc.).
. Develop strategic sales plans focused on international trade lanes and key industries.
. Generate leads, conduct sales visits, prepare customized proposals, and close deals.
. Build strong relationships with BCOs (beneficial cargo owners), shippers, importers/exporters, and freight decision-makers.
. . Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored logistics solutions including customs clearance, warehousing, and value-added services.
. . Resolve customer issues and manage key accounts for long-term partnerships.
. . Conduct regular client meetings, performance reviews, and business reviews (QBRs).
. Recommend service improvements, new trade lane focus, or pricing strategies based on customer and market feedback.
