Job Responsibilities
- Acts as primary representative of the subsidiary to HQ, liaising with HQ departments (Sales, Marketing, R&D/Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations).
- Holds local legal duties per country regulations and company agreements.
- Directly manages local departments: Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Service Support, and Finance.
- Creates a dynamic commercial sales environment, guiding Sales in daily activities while being accountable for sales turnover, margin, and operating costs.
- Serves as main liaison with HQ on Singapore HVAC market developments.
- Monitors and analyzes market trends, including construction and HVAC developments, to identify business opportunities.
- Builds networks with stakeholders within the customer portfolio, mapping and analyzing innovation and needs.
- Translates market intelligence into internal requirements, action plans, and strategic guidance for HQ Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering and/or management roles.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, products and applications.
- Proven track record managing teams and departments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with use of business IT systems (MS Office etc).
