Sales & Marketing Executive

Summary

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth within the construction and building materials sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, architects and other industry stakeholders.
• Conduct client visits, sales presentations and product demonstrations to understand customer requirements and promote company products and services.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to order confirmation and completion.
• Negotiate with customers and close sales while maintaining healthy margins and commercial objectives.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and objections professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals and KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify potential business opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams, including operations and technical teams, to ensure smooth project and customer coordination.

Pre-requisites:

• Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant sales and business development experience, preferably in the construction, building materials or related industry.

• Strong business development, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers at different levels.

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver measurable results.

• Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, architects, developers or construction companies will be an advantage.

• Strong commercial awareness with good problem-solving and follow-up skills.

• Positive, proactive and self-motivated with a strong sales-driven mindset.

• Willing to learn and develop technical knowledge of construction-related products and solutions.

• Possession of own transport is preferred.
