Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to penetrate the Singapore market for SANY's portfolio, including electric tractor heads, cargo trucks, light-duty trucks, and sanitation vehicles.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting key accounts in logistics, construction, and public sectors.
- Spearhead the promotion of SANY's electric and eco-friendly vehicle solutions, aligning product offerings with Singapore's Green Plan and sustainability goals.
Partner & Channel Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between SANY and local distributors/dealers, providing strategic guidance and operational support.
- Manage and optimize channel partner performance to ensure alignment with company objectives and market coverage.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including fleet operators, contractors, and government agencies.
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct ongoing market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the commercial vehicle landscape.
- Analyze customer needs and market demand to provide actionable insights to the product development and marketing teams.
Technical Sales Support & Training
- Equip local distributors and dealers with the necessary product knowledge through comprehensive training sessions on vehicle specifications, benefits, and maintenance.
- Support the sales process by conducting technical presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based selling to key customers.
- Act as a technical expert to translate complex product features into tangible customer benefits.
Operational Coordination & Customer Success
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., service, parts, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless project delivery from order to handover.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and coordinate with after-sales support teams to address any issues promptly, ensuring a positive ownership experience.
- Track sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and forecast future sales to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in the commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, or automotive industry, preferably with exposure to electric vehicles (EVs).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Singapore commercial vehicle market, including regulations, key players, and procurement processes.
- Skills:Hunter mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, resilient, and passionate about sustainability and green technology. Possess a valid Singapore driving license.
