Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven BusinessDevelopment Manager to drive business growth for our payment solutionsportfolio. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise sales strategy, buildstrong client relationships, and expand market presence across digitalpayments, merchant acquiring, embedded finance, fintech, and paymentinfrastructure solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of the paymentsecosystem, consultative selling skills, and the ability to manage complex B2Bsales cycles with banks, and build strategic relationships with partners. andfintechs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities across payment gateways, acquiring, issuing, cross-border payments, digital wallets, and value-added financial services.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with payment processors, banks, PSPs, and alternative payment providers
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and deal closure
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies to expand payment product adoption
  • Collaborate with product teams to tailor solutions (e.g., payment gateways, fraud prevention, recurring billing)
  • Monitor payment trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities
  • Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on performance metrics
  • Establish strong relationships with C-level stakeholders, payment partners, banks.
  • Understand customer business needs and position tailored payment solutions.
  • Lead strategic account planning and long-term partnership development.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in business development or sales within payments, fintech, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including:
  • Payment gateways
  • Merchant acquiring
  • Card schemes
  • Digital wallets
  • Cross-border payments
  • Fraud and risk management
  • API-based payment platforms
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience working with enterprise merchants or high-growth startups
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to understand technical payment solutions (APIs, integrations)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network with merchants, payment service providers (PSPs), or financial institutions
  • Experience in cross-border payments or multi-currency solutions
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, AML/KYC requirements)

Experiencein Southeast Asia or other high-growth markets
