Our client, a specialized leader in global logistics is seeking a strategic Sales Manager to spearhead growth within their Project Logistics division. This is an individual contributor role built for a self-starter who doesn't just sell freight—they architect supply chain solutions for the world's most complex industrial projects.
If you are ready to move beyond box-moving and start securing large-scale, high-value movements of heavy machinery, this is your next career milestone.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively hunt, source, and convert new business opportunities with a laser focus on industrial equipment, power generation, and heavy machinery sectors.
- Deep-dive into sectors such as Energy, Infrastructure, Mining, and Manufacturing to enlarge the footprint of our project portfolio.
- Spearhead the end-to-end response for high-stakes RFQs, RFIs, and complex global tenders, ensuring our technical value proposition is unrivaled.
- Pivot away from price-per-kg commodity selling. You will develop bespoke logistics models that solve the un-shippable challenges for your clients.
- Stay ahead of macroeconomic trends and competitor shifts to ensure our sales strategy remains the most aggressive in the Singapore market.
- Work in lockstep with Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure that the complex technical promises made during the sale are flawlessly executed on the ground.
- Build First-Call relationships with C-suite stakeholders and project managers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a vendor.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistently exceeding annual revenue and gross profit targets through new account acquisition.
- Maintaining a healthy, high-margin pipeline of OOG and heavy-lift projects.
- Becoming the go-to specialist for complex project landscaping and IP-intensive logistics solutions in the region.
The Ideal Profile
- Minimum 2+ years of proven sales success within the logistics/forwarding industry, with a verifiable win list in Project Logistics.
- A profound understanding of the OOG market, including lashing, specialized equipment, and multi-modal project coordination.
