Job Description

Sales Manager - Job Scope

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets

  • Set sales goals, forecasts, and KPIs aligned with business objectives

  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments

2. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to improve performance

  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales staff

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback

3. Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers

  • Drive new customer acquisition and retain existing clients

4. Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Monitor daily sales activities and pipeline management

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management

  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities in CRM systems

5. Customer & Market Insight

  • Understand customer needs and propose suitable products or solutions

  • Track market trends, competitors activities, and pricing strategies

  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and services

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams

  • Align sales campaigns with marketing initiatives

  • Coordinate order fulfillment and after-sales support

7. Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure sales activities comply with company policies and regulations

  • Continuously improve sales processes and efficiency

    Sales Manager - Requirements

    Education & Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

    • Professional sales or management certifications are an advantage

    Experience

    • Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

    • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

    • Experience in B2B/B2C sales (industry-specific experience is a plus)

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong leadership and people-management skills

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

    • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills

    • Ability to analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends

    • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills

    Technical Skills

    • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

    • Ability to prepare sales reports, proposals, and forecasts
