What We Are Looking For
At Blackpanda, our Sales team is the engine that drives our financial success. We are seeking a qualified Sales Manager to drive exponential growth in Southeast Asia.
Our ideal Sales Manager has an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the tech, SaaS, and/or cybersecurity ecosystem of distributors and resellers in Southeast Asia. They will be expected to manage the sales process, qualify leads, build relationships with our distributors, strategic partners, and close deals.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of Blackpanda's flagship product IR-1, as well as traditional Incident Response services, while helping to position Blackpanda as the premier cybersecurity DFIR team in Asia. Together with your Revenue team colleagues, you will be responsible for picking up the qualified leads and then collaborating with the relevant internal teams to draft and present successful sales proposals. The right candidate will possess excellent energy and enthusiasm with a desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts, as well as be capable of managing sales forecasts and projections.
Responsibilities And Duties- New Business Acquisition and Revenue Alignment
- Drive new sales across distributors, strategic resellers and enterprise end-customers in SEA.
- Identify, qualify and close opportunities across the full Blackpanda service portfolio.
- Contribute to, localise, and execute the regional sales strategy to meet ARR and individual revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Revenue Team, including Marketing and Customer Success to ensure SEA performance aligns with company-wide growth objectives, forecasting accuracy and best practices in sales execution.
- Partner and Channel Enablement
- Recruit, onboard and enable new partners to expand Blackpanda's regional footprint.
- Equip partners with the necessary sales tools, service knowledge, and training to effectively position Blackpanda offerings.
Qualifications And Experience
- At least 5 years of proven success in B2B enterprise sales via channels in Southeast Asia within the cybersecurity, or other related industries
- Significant experience and familiarity with Distributor and/or Channels management either from working at a cybersecurity distributor or vendor
- Familiarity with IR consulting as well as software types of pricing models
- Exposure in Sales in the Southeast Asia will be a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity channels ecosystem, regulations, and business landscape, especially around constructing and managing product / solutions bundles
- Outstanding skills in public speaking and be able to confidently communicate and present in events and speaking sessions
- Ideally, be able to evidence new market entry and associated quota attainment on a consistent basis
What We Offer
- 40 days paid leave per year inclusive of public holidays, which may be taken at the discretion of the employee subject to compliance with our Leave Policy and the approval of their manager.
- Limited Work From Anywhere policy allotment, allowing for work from alternate locations contingent upon coverage provided by teammates and approved by manager for 5 days per quarter.
- Travel & entertainment to select South East Asian countries to engage with Distributors and partners, likely up to twice per quarter.
- Monday through Thursday are required to be in-office; no scheduled internal meetings on Fridays, unless absolutely necessary.
- Enrolment in the company's comprehensive corporate health plan that includes a large direct billing network for medical and dental coverage.
- Opportunities for inter-office travel, including a required annual week-long Tribe Onsite meet-up.
- $5000 USD/year for professional training budget contingent on approval from manager with 12-month retention requirement
