Through hands-on learning, real business problem-solving, and coaching from industry experts, SMEs accelerate their digital, AI, and transformation journeys.
The programme is supported by the Singapore government and aligned with national digitalisation goals. Eligible companies can receive up to 90% funding support through SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and enhanced subsidy schemes.
Role Overview
We are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead SME acquisition for the RISE for Business programme in Singapore.
This is a high-impact individual contributor (hunter) role where you will own the end-to-end sales cycle—from pipeline creation to closing enrolments.
You will engage directly with SME owners, founders, CEOs, and senior functional leaders, using a consultative approach to translate programme features into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive SME Acquisition
- Own enrolment targets and revenue outcomes for the programme
- Generate leads through outbound efforts (cold calls, emails, events, roadshows, partnerships) and convert inbound leads
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline
- Manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, objection handling, and closing
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and conversion targets
2. Build Ecosystem & Partnerships
- Develop relationships with technology partners, industry associations, and SME networks
- Represent the programme at industry events, briefings, and engagement sessions
- Leverage partnerships to strengthen pipeline and acquisition channels
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal programme teams to ensure accurate positioning and eligibility alignment
- Align on messaging, targeting strategy, and enrolment priorities
4. Sales Performance & Reporting
- Execute daily sales activities with discipline and consistency to achieve weekly performance targets
- Continuously optimise outreach and conversion strategies using data-driven insights
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and key KPIs using CRM tools
- Maintain accurate forecasting and structured reporting on pipeline and sales performance

Who You Are
- 3–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience
- Proven experience in hunter roles with strong pipeline-building capability
- Skilled in consultative selling with strong executive presence
- Experience selling digital, SaaS, AI, data, transformation, or upskilling solutions
- Ability to engage and influence SME owners, founders, and senior stakeholders in Singapore
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, KPI-driven environments
