Job Description

This is an exciting job in the digital and Internet space dealing with Enterprises in FSI, Telcos, Hyper-scalers and next generation optical network technologies for Data Center Interconnect, terrestrial back-haul networks and subsea cable systems connecting APAC countries. It requires the candidate to have agile and strategic thinking capabilities to help scale R Nets top line. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the business of the assigned markets or customer accounts in Enterprise, Data Center and Telecoms sectors.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Handle Sales of optical network projects and related Enterprise network solutions.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plan to expand customer base and achieve sales goals.

  • Establishing & managing key customer relationships. Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, monitor their preferences and the activities of our competition.

  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate customer accounts. Actively communicates with management on new business development ideas.

  • Negotiation of Contract and Agreements, including upkeep of same, with customers and suppliers.

  • Presentation and successful positioning of R Nets products and services.

  • Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.

  • Manage the sales processes for the customer accounts including sales forecasting, customer service, tracking of overdue invoices, loan planning and monthly reporting.

  • Provide the sales input to the product management and competitor & market analysis.

  • Effective interworking with external partners: supplier, contractors etc.

  • Effective interworking with internal organizations: pre-sales, post-sales service, business operation etc.

Requirement

  • More than 5 years experience in sales and business development in Telecoms or Enterprise markets.
  • Experience in selling complex technical solutions
  • Preferably good knowledge of Telecommunication or IT networks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
