Job Role Description
The Senior Application Engineer (Business Title: Sales Manager) is responsible for driving sales of company air treatment and dehumidification products in Singapore and across regional markets. This role is primarily focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding company market presence, and achieving sales growth targets. The position requires strong business development skills, proactive customer engagement, and frequent regional travel to develop new accounts and strengthen relationships with clients, distributors, and partners.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets across Singapore and regional markets. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities in regional markets outside Singapore, build a strong pipeline of potential customers, and execute market entry strategies to expand company presence.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners. Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
- Engage customers directly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention, while supporting customer acquisition programs to grow the client base.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, and coordinate with internal departments (Service, Logistics, Engineering, and Finance) to ensure smooth order fulfilment and service delivery.
- Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management, including customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
- Utilise sales tools and technologies effectively to manage prospects, track performance, and continuously improve sales processes. Stay updated on industry developments and competitive offerings.
