Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Sales Manager, where your expertise in the pumps sector will drive aftermarket sales success. This role emphasizes strategic execution and relationship-building, aimed at exceeding sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales representatives, including forecasting and following up on opportunities. Cultivate strong relationships with key customers through regular visits and inquiries. Develop a thorough understanding of customers processes and needs to enhance competitive advantage. Oversee quotation activities, track profitability, and maintain pricing trends for assigned territories. Deliver compelling technical sales presentations to clients, ensuring product offerings align with their specifications. Investigate customer issues related to products and services, implementing effective resolutions. Facilitate collaboration with application engineers to ensure timely and compliant quotations. Conduct market intelligence analysis, providing actionable pricing recommendations and competitive insights. Lead annual forecasting for product sales and execute strategic action plans to achieve market goals. Organize pre-qualification documentation and prepare necessary business reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales within the Power, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater sectors. Proficient understanding of centrifugal pumps and their applications. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems in diverse situations. Excellent communication and leadership skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Willingness to travel up to 70% on a regional basis as needed.
