Sales Manager – Public Security, Southeast Asia
A global technology company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to develop and close large, complex command-and-control and cybersecurity projects across Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
- Identify, shape and close C2, C4 and C4ISR opportunities across Southeast Asia
- Drive new business with military organisations, airports, police forces and other high-security government agencies
- Sell complete solutions as a Master Systems Integrator, combining multiple products, vendors and technology partners
- Develop account strategies and influence project requirements before tenders are released
- Build relationships with government stakeholders, end users, partners and systems integrators
- Lead complex bids, commercial negotiations and multi-year contract closures
- Work with technical, bid, cybersecurity and delivery teams to develop competitive proposals
- Manage order intake, margins, pipeline, forecasting and sales reporting
Requirements
- Min 8 years of sales or business-development experience in defence, public security, airports or critical infrastructure
- Proven experience personally selling and closing complete C2, C4 or C4ISR projects
- Experience selling to military, airport, police or other high-security government customers
- Strong Southeast Asia export-sales experience and relevant customer relationships
- Experience selling as a Master Systems Integrator across multiple technologies and partners
- Exposure to cybersecurity infrastructure, including secure networks, encryption, identity management or data protection
- Strong hunter profile with experience developing new accounts and markets
- Track record managing large, multi-million-dollar (min 5 mil USD) and multi-year projects (min 2 years)
- Experience with government tenders, complex negotiations and long sales cycles
- Strong commercial, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline
- The ideal candidate has personally sold an integrated command-and-control ecosystem, not only individual radios, cybersecurity products, sensors or software licences.
