OVERVIEW
A leading Japanese food trading company is seeking a Sales Manager or Sales Assistant Manager.
We are looking for a candidate who can manage the sales team within the retail division.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage relationships with existing customers and expand sales
-Lead, train, and manage the sales team
-Oversee and manage the product stocking team
-Set sales targets and KPIs plan and implement strategies to achieve them
-Conduct market and competitor research and analysis
-Coordinate and report with headquarters and related departments
-Handle business negotiations, contract conclusions, and collect/respond to customer feedback
-Promote efficiency improvements in sales processes and operations
-Negotiate with key persons at retail companies
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in sales within the food wholesale/import-export industry or related business
-Management experience (as a sales team leader or manager)
-Strong motivation to develop new markets and customers
-Proficient in numerical and target management
-Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese conversational Chinese is desirable (for customer interactions)
-Proactive, with excellent communication skills
-Flexible mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
BENEFITS
-Monthly salary:
Assistant Manager: S$4,800-5,500 plus monthly commission
-Manager: Around S$6,500 (no commission)
(Exact salary determined by experience ranges are estimates.)
-Working hours: 9:00-18:00
-Work from home: Not available
-Number of interviews: 2 times
-Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and variable bonus: Available
