Sales Manager (On-Trade)
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead new business development across Singapore's on-trade market. This is a front-line, hunter role focused on opening doors, winning new accounts, and growing distribution in restaurants, bars, and hospitality groups.
You will work closely with the CEO to execute sales strategy, identify opportunities, and convert leads into active, revenue-generating accounts. This role suits someone who thrives on targets, enjoys building relationships from scratch, and is motivated by closing deals.
. Actively prospect and acquire new on-trade accounts across assigned territories
. Drive new listings, menu placements, and by-the-glass opportunities
. Lead sales conversations from first meeting through negotiation and order confirmation
. Build pipeline visibility and consistently convert prospects into active clients
. Work with the CEO on pricing, commercial strategy, and portfolio positioning
. Track leads, opportunities, and conversion performance with regular reporting
. Represent the company at tastings, launches, and industry events to generate new leads
. Collaborate with logistics and operations to ensure smooth first deliveries
. Maintain momentum in newly opened accounts during the initial growth phase
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9.00am to 6.00pm
Work Location: Kallang
Monthly Base Salary: SGD 4,000 to 4,500
Commission: Personal sales commission
. 2 to 3 years experience in on-trade wine sales or business development
. Strong network within restaurants, bars, and hospitality groups in Singapore
. Proven ability to open new accounts and close listings
. Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
. Energetic, self-motivated, and comfortable working to targets
. Confident communicator who is comfortable meeting clients independently
