About the Role Old Town Barber is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead growth efforts. You will drive revenue through strategic membership programs, corporate partnerships, and community engagement while bridging traditional service excellence with modern business development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase service bookings, retail product sales, and membership sign-ups
- Identify and secure corporate partnerships and local collaborations to expand the customer base
- Mentor and motivate front-of-house and grooming staff to achieve sales targets while maintaining high customer service standards
- Collaborate on promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs to increase repeat customer visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular patrons and manage high-level inquiries or feedback effectively
- Monitor monthly sales KPIs and deliver actionable reports on market trends and competitor activities to management
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales management, retail leadership, or business development
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse client base
- Proactive hunter mentality with passion for traditional barbering culture
- Fluent in English to communicate clearly proficiency in a second language is advantageous for local community engagement
- Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced retail environment, including working weekends or peak hours
