Recently selected by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) for the prestigious 2026 in-water hull cleaning innovation trials, we are rapidly expanding our global commercial footprint.

Our flagship platform, the Merlion Jet4, is the only explosion-proof (Ex-certified) autonomous cavitation ROV in the market engineered to perform precision, zero-abrasion grooming on complex hull curvatures in strong currents up to 2.0 knots. We are empowering global shipping fleets to lower fuel consumption by 5-12%, protect premium coatings, and seamlessly optimize their CII ratings.

The Role

We are seeking an aggressive, results-driven Commercial Lead / Sales Manager to take over and drive our institutional account acquisition. You will be responsible for translating our technical superiority into commercial contracts with global shipowners, ship managers, and international port partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-to-end B2B sales cycles, from initial outreach to contract signing, targeting technical directors and fleet managers.
  • Promote our robotic hull grooming service agreements to maritime assets passing through major anchorage corridors.
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline efficiently within our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Coordinate with technical operations to ensure seamless project delivery and high client retention.
Requirements:
  • Eligibility: Due to tight local work permit quotas, this position is strictly open to Singaporeans, Singapore Permanent Residents (PR), or Malaysian citizens.
  • Experience: Proven track record in B2B corporate sales, marine engineering, coating inspections (NACE/FROSIO), or classification society environments.
  • Network: Strong existing relationships within the Singapore and international ship management/shipowner ecosystem.
  • Traits: Highly technical communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and an execution-focused attitude.
