Our client is a leading global management consulting firm. They're seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to drive company acquisition for a new government-supportprogramme.
This is a 12 month contract (renewable) role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Building outbound and inbound pipelines with discipline and creativity.
- Engaging SME founders and C-suite leaders with credibility and confidence.
- Managing complex, consultative B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Positioning digital and AI-driven programs in outcome-focused language.
- Thriving in KPI-driven, target-based environments.
SME Acquisition
- Drive enrolment of mid- to large-sized SMEs into the program.
- Generate new leads through proactive outreach (calls, emails, events, ecosystem channels) while converting qualified inbound leads.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline aligned to enrolment targets.
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, objection handling, closing, and confirmed enrolment.
- Consistently meet or exceed defined sales and conversion goals.
- Maintain disciplined CRM tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
Ecosystem & Partnerships
- Establish relationships with technology partners, industry associations, SME networks, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Represent the program at industry briefings, events, and engagement sessions.
- Leverage partnerships to strengthen acquisition channels and pipeline quality.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with government agency stakeholders as required.
- Partner with program teams to ensure accurate positioning and eligibility screening.
- Align on messaging, pipeline strategy, and enrolment priorities.
Performance Management
- Track acquisition KPIs and pipeline metrics using CRM systems.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline health and sales performance.
- Continuously refine outreach and messaging strategies based on insights.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience from technology, SaaS, Enterprise companies
- Proven track record selling digital, data, SaaS, AI, or transformation-related solutions.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including CEOs and founders of mid- to large-sized SMEs.
- Strong executive presence with consultative selling and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales and conversion targets.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable to do presentations to senior stakeholders.
