Our client is a well-established FMCG company. Due to business expansion, they are now recruiting a Modern Trade Sales Manager to support their commercial growth. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and channel performance objectives.
- Drive sales execution across assigned retail channels and monitor business performance against targets.
- Manage strategic customer accounts, develop annual business plans, and identify opportunities to expand product distribution and category performance.
- Oversee commercial negotiations, promotional activities, and customer agreements to maximize business returns.
- Monitor trade investment and promotional spending to ensure effective budget utilization and profitability.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives and customer requirements.
- Manage external sales agencies to ensure execution aligns with commercial objectives and operational standards.
- Review sales operations and implement process improvements to enhance business efficiency.
- Lead sales team planning, performance management, and operational execution.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FMCG commercial or sales management.
- Experience managing Modern Trade channels and national retail accounts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading sales operations or commercial teams.
- Proven experience in trade investment planning, promotional management, and budget control.
- Strong knowledge of sales analysis, business planning, and retail account management.
