The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and expanding market presence within Singapore and Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This role is individual contributor-based, meaning the candidate will directly manage client relationships, negotiate contracts, and execute sales strategies without overseeing a team. The ideal candidate should have strong industry knowledge, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to work independently to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales strategies tailored to Singapore and the SEA market to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across Singapore and SEA.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and provide insights to optimize sales performance in Singapore and SEA.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead pricing discussions, negotiate contracts, and ensure profitable agreements with clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance by identifying new revenue streams and optimizing existing accounts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, finance, and delivery teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and inform decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of sales experience in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry, with a focus on Singapore and SEA markets.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions in Singapore and SEA.

Sales Acumen: Proven ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and presentations.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans.

Self-Motivation: Highly independent and proactive, capable of managing sales activities without direct supervision.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Regional Expertise:
Understanding of SEA business culture, regulations and logistics infrastructure.
