Our client, a leading firm in the life sciences industry, is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead regional expansion efforts. This role offers the chance to shape market strategy, manage distributor relationships, and contribute to the growth of innovative healthcare solutions across Southeast Asia.
Your new role
- Manage sales of lab equipment (e.g. incubators) in Thailand and Vietnam
- Oversee the Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) portfolio for Export and Singapore markets
- Drive business development across Export markets to expand product offerings
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies tailored to regional needs
- Build and maintain strong distributor relationships across Southeast Asia
- Identify and target new customer segments to grow market share
- Lead sales forecasting, inventory planning, and support regional marketing initiatives
- Conduct market research and contribute to export commercial operations
- Travel frequently across Southeast Asia, managing own schedule with autonomy
- Take ownership of end-to-end commercial responsibilities, from strategy to execution
- Negotiate effectively with distributors and navigate life sciences channels confidently
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support portfolio growth and market penetration
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field PhD in Bioscience preferred
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the life sciences industry
- Strong understanding of lab equipment (e.g., incubators) and Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) products
- Experience managing regional markets, particularly Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, and Export territories
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Skilled in distributor management and negotiation across Southeast Asia
- Familiarity with sales forecasting, inventory planning, and regional marketing support
