Maintaining and improving market share in the countries assigned from time to time including negotiating prices, quotations, allocations and resolve complaints with distributors, agents, and customers.
Formulating and executing sales and marketing strategies.
Developing new markets and emerging countries.
Securing new customers and selling into new applications.
Promoting new grades and products.
Reviewing distribution costs and effectiveness of distribution costs.
Managing and improving all aspects of sales & marketing activities assigned.
Providing technical service to the customers by Technical Service team's supports.
Managing supply chain with Customer Service team.
Liaise with Japan and other Regional Offices in sales and marketing related matters.
Our Requirements:
Degree in any discipline.
Ability to travel overseas frequently: 30-50%.
Minimum 10 years of experience in working with plastic industry such as chemical products company.
Business Creativity - Ability to seek new directions such as new business creation, expansion of business areas, innovations etc.
Determination/Insight - Ability to gain deep insights on essential points regardless of the surface, when planning strategies and developing plans or solving problems.
Setting the Vision/Scenario/Goal and Communication - Ability to develop and communicate the visions, goal images, and the scenarios in order to encourage employees continuous actions towards the vision realization.
Requires ability to influence others and accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership
Problems faced are often complex and require extensive investigation and analysis.
Communication with Japanese Senior managers/R&D/Production/QC/Lab/Market Development/ Administration (including non-English speakers) is a must. Proficiency in Japanese is required.
