Job Description

Business Development and Sales Manager

  • Luxury home textiles company seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to drive market growth in Singapore
  • Role focuses on expanding sales across premium furnishing fabrics, bedding, bath collections, wallpapers, and soft furnishings.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within luxury residential and commercial segments.
  • Expected to identify new business opportunities and deliver compelling product presentations to high-end clients.
  • Must leverage and expand relationships with interior designers, architects, design firms, and premium retail partners.
  • Conducts regular client engagement, manages showcases, and ensures strong customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintains market intelligence by tracking trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform strategy.
  • Manages full sales cycle including lead generation, pricing negotiations, contracting, and CRM documentation.
  • Requires 4-6 years sales experience in luxury furnishings or related premium lifestyle products, with proven results.
  • Ideal candidate is polished, entrepreneurial, deeply networked in the design community, and passionate about luxury interiors.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of proven sales experience in luxury furnishing textiles, home dcor, or related premium lifestyle products in Singapore
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in the luxury segment
  • Experience working with international brands and high-end clientele

Network & Connections

  • Established relationships with interior designers, architects, and design firms across Singapore
  • Existing connections with premium retail outlets, furniture stores, and home dcor showrooms
  • Active presence in Singapore's design and luxury lifestyle community

Skills & Competencies

  • Good understanding of luxury furnishing fabrics, textiles, and home dcor products
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical product specifications and design concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
