Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager with deep expertise in the Financial Services Industry to support business expansion in the ASEAN region. This role is responsible for developing new customer bases and expanding strategic relationships with major financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by selling Edge Technology and Enterprise Solutions, while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including VP- and C-level executives.

Job Duties

  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and deepen professional relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in assigned customer accounts, including senior management and C-suite executives.
  • Account Planning: Lead the account planning process by defining account strategies, financial targets, and key milestones over a 1-3-year planning horizon.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage complex and long sales cycles, effectively coordinating internal teams and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Customer Insight & Needs Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of customers business environments and proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Consultative Solution Selling: Demonstrate strong consultative selling skills, clearly articulating business value and ROI propositions tailored to customer objectives.
  • Revenue & Growth Management: Deliver short-term sales results while maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize customer success and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Forecasting & Performance Tracking: Ensure accurate quarterly sales forecasting and consistent revenue delivery in line with committed targets.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Translate business strategy into actionable sales plans and drive sales activities to achieve committed revenue and profit goals.
  • Market & Customer Engagement: Represent the company in customer meetings, industry events, and relevant business forums to strengthen market presence and support pipeline development.

Key Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: 5-10 years of proven experience in solution selling within major services or software vendors.
  • Financial Services Expertise: Demonstrated sales experience and concrete achievements working with large banks or insurance companies.
  • Industry Network: Established relationships or the ability to build strong connections with IT departments or divisions within financial institutions.
  • Sales Performance: Proven track record of net-new business development with consistent achievement against sales targets.
  • Digital Solutions Experience: Experience in selling banking or insurance-related digital or enterprise solutions is highly preferred.
  • Key Account Management: Experience managing large or strategic customer accounts.
  • Executive Presence: Strong credibility and communication skills when engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in English and Japanese, enabling effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help customers succeed.
