Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Manager with a clinical background (e.g., nursing) and strong technology acumen to bridge the gap between healthcare operations and advanced digital solutions.
This is a unique hybrid role combining:
- Clinical domain expertise
- Consultative enterprise sales
- Technology solutioning (AI & analytics)
You will play a critical role in helping healthcare organizations adopt data-driven and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and close new opportunities across:
- Public and private hospitals
- Specialist clinics and healthcare groups
- Government and public health agencies
Sell:
- AI-enabled clinical and operational solutions
- Data analytics platforms and services
- Custom-built AI and interoperability solutions
Own end-to-end sales cycle:
- Lead generation → discovery → solutioning → proposal → closure
2. Clinical + Technical Solution Selling
Translate clinical workflows, pain points, and patient care challenges into:
- Data-driven insights
- AI-based solutions
Lead conversations with:
- Nursing leaders, clinicians, and administrators
- CIOs, CMIOs, Chief Data Officers
Support demos, use-case design, and value articulation (ROI, outcomes, efficiency)
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build trust with healthcare stakeholders by leveraging clinical experience
- Act as a trusted advisor on digital and AI transformation
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
4. Market Development
Stay current on:
- Healthcare digitalization trends in Singapore (MOH initiatives, Healthier SG, etc.)
- AI adoption in clinical workflows
- Data privacy and compliance (PDPA)
Represent the company at healthcare and healthtech events
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work with:
- Data scientists
- AI engineers
- Product and delivery teams
Help shape solutions that balance:
- Clinical relevance
- Technical feasibility
- Business value
Requirements
Experience
- 2-5 years of clinical experience (Registered Nurse or equivalent)
- 1-3 years in sales, pre-sales, or healthcare IT / digital health roles
- Experience in healthcare IT, SaaS, analytics, or digital transformation preferred
Core Skills
Strong understanding of:
- Clinical workflows and patient care processes
- Healthcare IT systems (EMR/EHR familiarity preferred)
Exposure to:
- Data analytics, dashboards, or BI tools
- AI/ML use cases in healthcare (training can be provided)
Ability to:
- Translate clinical needs into technology solutions
- Communicate effectively with both clinicians and IT stakeholders
Personal Attributes
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset-comfortable in a startup environment
- High learning agility (especially in AI and emerging tech)
- Passion for improving healthcare outcomes through innovation
Preferred
Prior experience in:
- Healthcare consulting or digital health startups
- AI/analytics solutions in healthcare
Existing network within Singapore healthcare ecosystem
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Education
- Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or related field
- Additional certification or coursework in IT, analytics, or digital health is a plus
