Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve/exceed revenue and market share targets.
- Identify and prioritize key customer segments: bakeries, F&B chains, distributors, hotels, and gelato shops.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to senior management.
Business Development
- Prospect, engage, and convert new customers through effective lead generation and relationship nurturing.
- Expand business with existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling product lines.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support promotions, product launches, and campaigns tailored to local needs.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and challenges.
- Provide expert product knowledge and consultation on bakery, gelato, and food service solutions.
- Manage customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Customized Solution:
- Partner with clients R&D teams to create new menus and develop bespoke ingredient formulations for their seasonal launches (e.g., CNY, Mooncake festivals or Christmas pastry lines).
- Work with technical chefs to conduct live demonstrations, showing the applications of the ingredients.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing, and regulatory developments in the food market.
- Use insights to refine strategies, inform product development, and capitalize on new opportunities.
Sales Operations
- Stocks forecasting.
- Prepare reports, quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage order fulfilment processes.
- Ensure accurate sales documentation and Salesforce updates.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar field.
- Handle sales (Farmer & Hunter) and lead and manage Business Development team
- Strong Horeca sales background with proven success in new business development and account management
