Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the exhibitions and events industry
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and convert them into revenue
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Actively conduct outdoor sales activities, including client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, project management) to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the exhibitions/events industry
  • Proven track record in a hunter sales role, with consistent achievement of sales targets
  • Strong existing network and contacts within the events, exhibitions, or related industries
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Comfortable with frequent client-facing activities and outdoor meetings
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the events/exhibitions landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling exhibition space, event sponsorships, or event-related services
  • Established relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event organizers
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
