Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the exhibitions and events industry
- Leverage existing industry contacts to generate leads and convert them into revenue
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Actively conduct outdoor sales activities, including client meetings, networking events, and industry functions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, project management) to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the exhibitions/events industry
- Proven track record in a hunter sales role, with consistent achievement of sales targets
- Strong existing network and contacts within the events, exhibitions, or related industries
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
- Comfortable with frequent client-facing activities and outdoor meetings
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the events/exhibitions landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling exhibition space, event sponsorships, or event-related services
- Established relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event organizers
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
