Sales Manager/ Engineer (to Water Treatment Plant/Wastewater Treatment Plant)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve individual and overall sales targets.

• Develop new business opportunities across water and wastewater treatment projects.

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, owners, contractors and other key stakeholders.

• Conduct regular client visits, project meetings and site visits to develop sales opportunities.

• Manage sales activities from enquiry and technical evaluation through quotation, negotiation and order securing.

• Review specifications, technical data, commercial submissions and CAD drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Provide technical presentations and product solutions to consultants, end users and contractors.

• Coordinate product approvals, certifications, testing and technical matters with factories and relevant authorities.

• Work with the factory to resolve customer enquiries, technical issues and product complaints.

• Monitor quotations, orders, upcoming projects, competitor activities and market developments.

• Prepare regular sales and market reports for management.

• Represent the company at trade exhibitions and relevant industry events.

• Mentor and support sales team members to improve performance and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of technical sales experience in valves, actuators or industrial instrumentation.

• Experience in Water Treatment / Wastewater Treatment projects is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience in sales team leadership or management is an advantage.

• Able to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong technical, commercial and negotiation skills.

• Good communication and presentation skills.
