Sales Manager (Singapore)
Retail Distribution | Kids Tech | High-Execution Role
Role Overview
We are a fast-growing kids technology company looking for a Sales Manager (Singapore) to drive retail and distribution growth.
This role requires someone with strong experience in consumer electronics / photography / bookstore retail channels, who can open doors, close deals, and grow accounts with key retailers such as Courts, Challenger, Harvey Norman, Popular, Kinokuniya, and other distribution partners.
You will be responsible for revenue growth, channel expansion, and in-store execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Channel Development & Sales Growth
- Drive sales across electronics, photography, and bookstore retail channels
- Manage and grow key accounts (Courts, Challenger, Harvey Norman, Popular, etc.)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Expand distribution footprint across Singapore
2. Key Account Management
- Build strong relationships with retail buyers and category managers
- Negotiate listing, pricing, promotions, and shelf space
- Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance
- Ensure strong product visibility and retail presence
3. In-Store Execution & Merchandising
- Ensure proper product placement, display, and branding in stores
- Work with retail teams on promotions, campaigns, and launches
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
4. Channel Strategy & Expansion
- Identify new retail opportunities and distribution partners
- Develop strategies for different channels (electronics vs bookstore vs lifestyle)
- Work closely with distributors where applicable
5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting
- Manage sales forecasts, POs, and inventory planning
- Track performance data (sell-in, sell-through, stock levels)
- Provide regular reports and insights to management
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and retail activations
- Coordinate with operations and supply chain for stock planning
- Align with product team on new launches and feedback
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience in retail sales / distribution
- Strong network with Singapore retail channels (electronics, photography, bookstore)
- Experience working with retailers such as Courts, Challenger, Harvey Norman, Popular, etc.
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets and growing accounts
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience in consumer electronics or related categories preferred
Language:
- Fluent in English
- Mandarin is a plus (for regional coordination)
