SALES MANAGER

The trainee will be attached to the Sales Management function of Delicious Taste Cake Shop, focusing on retail sales operations and customer-facing activities. Guided closely by the Director, the trainee will learn how sales planning, customer handling, and daily retail operations are managed in a confectionery and bakery retail setting.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Director in overseeing daily sales operations within the retail outlet.

2. Monitor product display, stock arrangement, and overall shop presentation.

3. Handle customer inquiries and provide product information professionally.

4. Support order processing for walk-in customers and advance orders.

5. Coordinate with suppliers regarding stock replenishment and delivery schedules.

6. Review daily sales records and assist in basic sales reporting.

7. Observe customer purchasing patterns and provide feedback to management.

8. Assist in implementing promotional activities and in-store offers.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

1. Knowledge of retail sales operations and customer service practices.

2. Understanding of confectionery and bakery product handling.

3. Basic inventory and stock monitoring skills.

4. Ability to manage retail documentation and records accurately.

5. Strong verbal communication and customer interaction skills.

6. Attention to detail in pricing, product display, and order handling.

7. Problem-solving skills for handling customer issues.

8. Time management in a retail environment.

9. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic retail software.

Duration of Traineeship/Attachment Offered - 6 months

Mature Mid Career Individuals - $3,800
