Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cyber Security Sales Lead to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the Oceanic Logistics vertical. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cyber security challenges unique to shipping, ports, supply chain, and marine operations, coupled with a proven track record in consultative sales and strategic account management. This role demands a proactive individual who can identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and articulate complex security solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the Oceanic Logistics sector.
  • Exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets by driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations and build strong, trusted relationships.

Market Expertise & Solution Advocacy:

  • Become a trusted advisor to clients by demonstrating deep expertise in cyber security trends, threats, and solutions relevant to oceanic logistics operations (e.g., vessel OT/IT convergence, port security, supply chain integrity, regulatory compliance like IMO 2021).
  • Articulate the value proposition of our client's cyber security offerings, tailoring solutions to address specific client pain points and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with prospective clients.

Account Management & Growth:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, product management, and professional services teams to ensure successful solution delivery and customer success.

Market Insight & Reporting:

  • Provide market feedback to product and engineering teams to help shape future offerings and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and customer information using CRM tools.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting cyber security in oceanic logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of [X, e.g., 7+] years of successful cyber security sales experience, with a significant portion focused on the Oceanic Logistics, Shipping, Maritime, or Transportation industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing revenue in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), technologies (e.g., EDR, SIEM, OT security, network security, cloud security), and relevant regulations (e.g., IMO 2021, NIS Directive).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
