Our client is a well-established international maritime services provider with a strong presence across global ports. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join their Singapore team.
Sales Manager – Marine Services
Location: Singapore
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive business development professional who enjoys building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the commercial success of a leading marine services organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow key accounts.
- Meet with customers regularly to understand their operational needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and support contract discussions.
- Monitor market activity, customer developments, and industry trends to identify new opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently.
- Support commercial planning by providing market feedback and business insights.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and industry events.
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Maritime Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of commercial or business development experience within the maritime industry.
- Experience in marine services, port operations, vessel chartering, towage, or related sectors will be an advantage.
- Strong experience in sales, account management, and customer relationship development.
- Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.
- Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on delivering business results.
