Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the industrial packaging solutions industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Area Sales Manager in hopes of developing the current high-performing sales team. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and present value propositions to support ongoing business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics, to deliver optimal client service.
- Assist regional sales leadership in achieving sales targets.
- Prepare detailed price quotations and sales documentation.
- Deliver presentations, samples, and prototypes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain relationships with production plants serving assigned territory or accounts.
- Identify opportunities for new business and coordinate with plants to capture these opportunities.
- Execute pricing actions for underperforming accounts when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- 4-8 years of experience in sales, preferably industrial or B2B sales.
- Proven track record in account management and business development.
- Ability to perform cold calls and follow up on leads.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
