Our client, a leading cybersecurity distributor, is seeking a high-performing Sales Director to lead their Singapore sales operations. This role will be responsible for driving growth through the development and execution of strategic sales plans across a strong portfolio of cybersecurity vendors. Reporting directly to the Country Head, you will lead a team of experienced vendor sales managers and serve as a key member of the Singapore leadership team.
About The Job
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 67 direct reports, including vendor sales managers and specialists
- Drive vendor and partner sales strategy, execution, and performance across the Singapore market
- Own revenue and margin targets for the Singapore cybersecurity portfolio
- Collaborate with vendor stakeholders to align on go-to-market strategies and sales enablement initiatives
- Provide strategic input to the Singapore leadership team on market trends, channel dynamics, and sales performance
- Build strong relationships with key partners, resellers, and system integrators to expand market presence
- Monitor KPIs, forecast sales, and report regularly on business performance to senior management
skills and experience required
- Proven track record as a sales leader in the technology or cybersecurity distribution sector
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with strong experience in a people leadership role
- Strong understanding of the Singapore IT channel and cybersecurity landscape
- Demonstrated success in managing vendor relationships and growing market share
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
