Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interior Designer with prior experience to join our growing team. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage the entire customer journey - from initial consultation to project delivery - while ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $2,000/month (guaranteed for the first 3 months)
- Commission: 50%-60% on every closed project (starting at 50%, based on performance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their interior design needs and preferences
- Present design proposals, concepts, and material selections
- Close deals with customers and convert leads into signed projects
- Oversee and manage projects from concept through to completion
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure budgets, timelines, and expectations are clearly communicated and achieved
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in interior design or a related field
- Strong communication and client-handling skills
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple projects
- Good understanding of design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar tools)
- Sales and negotiation skills are a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
