Sales Executive (Singapore) - Food Ingredients

Description

Our client is chemicals distributor with established presence across the region. They are seeking a Sales Executive / Assistant Sales Manager based in Singapore to drive business growth within the food ingredients portfolio while working closely with regional colleagues.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Food Ingredients Business Unit, you will manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities within the food manufacturing industry in Singapore and Johor. You will promote a portfolio of food ingredients through a consultative sales approach, prepare quotations and product costings, and develop sales strategies to achieve business objectives. Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will build long-term relationships, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and recommend opportunities to expand the business.

Requirements

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Business, Marketing or a related discipline, with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in technical sales, ingredient sales or business development within the food industry. Candidates with a technical background who are keen to transition into commercial sales are also encouraged to apply. You possess strong communication and relationship management skills, enjoy engaging customers and are motivated to develop new business opportunities. Experience with CRM systems and the ability to work independently are advantageous.
