Sales Executive

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement competitive strategies to achieve substantial growth in the sales and market shares
• Identify new and emerging opportunities in the market and strategically tap them to promote a new product line
• Compile market intelligence such as competitors pricing, new product launches and competing activities as well as information on new players
• Establish and manage clientele base and maintain a good working relationships with customers (eg. developers, architects, contractors, etc)
• Work with architects in setting specifications for both commercial and residential projects
• Plan and participate in trade fairs/exhibitions to promote maximum brand exposure
• Attend to all project tender documentation and translation if necessary
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts on the Project and Distributor sectors
• Attend to site inquiries and render technical assistance upon request by clients

Requirements:

• Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or its equivalence with at least 1-year relevant experience in the same capacity
• Sales-driven and customer oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful and possess a high level of commitment and determined to excel
• Good business acumen with sensitivity to business trends and market conditions
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Possess strong initiative and able to be a good team player
• Those with relevant experience in consumer durables and building distribution networks have an added advantage.
