Job Description

  • Business Development & Sales

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities for LED lighting solutions in target segments (e.g. F&B, retail, offices, industrial, food services).
    • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, site visits and proposals to negotiation and closing.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Customer & Project Management

    • Conduct on-site surveys and basic lighting assessments to understand customer needs and current installations.
    • Prepare quotations, cost-benefit and ROI analyses, including projected energy savings.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering/operations) for design, installation scheduling and after-sales support.
    • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and partners (e.g. contractors, facility managers).
  • Grant Advisory & Support

    • Keep updated on relevant government schemes (e.g. Enterprise Singapore Energy Efficiency Grant and related support programmes).
    • Explain eligibility criteria, supported equipment categories, funding caps and application requirements to customers.
    • Assist customers in preparing the required documentation, vendor quotations and basic project justifications for grant applications.
    • Work closely with internal admin/finance teams to ensure proper documentation and compliance with grant guidelines.
  • Market & Product Knowledge

    • Understanding of LED lighting products (e.g. high bays, floodlights, downlights) and their technical features.
    • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and new energy-efficient technologies.
    • Provide feedback to management on customer requirements and product improvements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Familiarity with Singapore government grants for SMEs (e.g. Energy Efficiency Grant, PSG, or similar schemes) is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills ability to explain technical and financial concepts simply.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with good follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own vehicle is an advantage (if site visits are frequent)
