Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dry condiments packing company. Your primary focus will be to maintain and exceed sales targets by nurturing our existing client base and proactively identifying new business opportunities in the retail and wholesale sectors.
Job Scope and Responsibilities
- Sales Target Management: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas by implementing effective selling strategies and monitoring market trends.
- Existing Client Retention: Reinforce relationships with current customers through regular check-ins, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of service effectiveness.
- New Business Development: Identify and prospect new clients (e.g., grocery stores, restaurants, wholesalers) to expand market share across all condiment categories.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our dry condiments range, including features, benefits, and food safety standards to effectively answer customer queries.
- Administrative Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and submit weekly reports on sales activities, competitor movements, and customer feedback.
- Promotional Activity: Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations or trials at platinum target client sites to drive volume and brand awareness.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in FMCG sales, particularly in the food or condiment industry, is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and overcome objections.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage a part-time schedule effectively to reach targets.
