Job Summary:

Drive business growth through a balanced focus on new customer acquisition and account management within the electronics components industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales and Marketing Managers in acquiring new customers and distributors while maintaining existing relationships (50% hunting / 50% farming).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and participation in sales, marketing, and exhibition activities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve strategic and operational sales targets.
  • Liaise with R&D teams to incorporate new technologies and product features into customer presentations.
  • Coordinate with factories on production forecasts, quality standards, delivery schedules, engineering matters, and pricing to support sales objectives.
  • Provide timely responses to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and deliver after-sales support and services.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity reports, sales projections/forecasts, and quarterly sales reports to the divisional sales manager.
  • Propose and plan customer visits, subject to sales manager approval, to address issues, understand market conditions, and gather customer feedback.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to planning and budgeting for exhibitions, trade shows, and advertising initiatives for brand development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in flat cable, electronics, or electrical components.
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Sound business acumen with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven professional approach.
