The Role:
As an integral part of Germaxco's sales department, the Sales Executive is expected to be proactive and resourceful in gaining and retaining new customers in the fast-paced, logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Follow up on sales leads and prospects, targeting to acquire these leads as new customers
- Assist and support the Business Development team to run campaigns and trade shows
- Monitor ageing reports and follow up on accounts receivables when the need arises
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operations excellence and customer satisfaction
- Keep abreast of industry developments and trends by conducting market research
- Proactively providing feedback and suggestions for SOP improvements
- Maintaining good rapport and relationships with existing and potential customers to build a business development pipeline
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field qualification
- High English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics
- Results-driven and proactive
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willing to travel and engage in sales and networking activities
